Chiropractic Care

Chiropractor applying spinal adjustment to a patient lying face down

What to Expect: Immediate relief in tension and improved mobility post-adjustment, which may be accompanied by mild tenderness around the treated area. Mild fatigue after adjustment is common as your nervous system recalibrates.

DO'S

  • DO keep moving! Gentle mobility helps with post-treatment soreness.
  • DO apply an ice pack (wrapped in a thin towel) for 10 minutes if you feel acute localized joint soreness.
  • DO increase water intake for the next 48 hours.

DON'TS

  • DON'T participate in heavy lifting or high-impact exercise immediately after your treatment.
  • DON'T self-adjust between visits.
